Is BattleFrens free to play?
Yes — completely free. Connect your Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare) and start playing. No email, no registration, no upfront cost. Free Matches require zero NFTs.
How do I win SOL in BattleFrens?
By winning SOL Duels. You stake SOL against another real player — whoever wins the match takes both stakes. Your Fren's stats and your strategy decide the outcome. No luck, no farming.
Do I need an NFT to play?
No. Free Matches work with a randomly assigned Dummy Fren — no NFT required. To access Ranked Matches, Duels, and equipment, you need a minted Fren NFT (0.05 SOL).
What wallets does BattleFrens support?
Phantom and Solflare. On mobile, use the built-in browser inside the wallet app for the best experience.
What are Essences used for?
Essences are used during Fren minting to boost the rarity of the Fren you receive. Add up to 3 of each type (Power, Defense, Speed, Life, Infinite) to increase your chance of a Tier S Fren.
Can I trade my Frens and items?
Yes. All Frens, equipment, and materials are real NFTs tradeable on MarketFray (Frens & items) and Materialia (crafting materials) — BattleFrens's on-chain marketplaces.
Does BattleFrens have its own token?
No. BattleFrens does not have a native token. All rewards are in SOL, on-chain crafting materials, or game-internal GOLDIES (non-transferable). Beware of any token claiming to be BattleFrens.
What are Community Pools?
